The Dubliner - A Gastro Irish Pub & Restaurant in Methven is seeking happy smiley experienced bar and waitstaff to work for the busy Christmas & Summer season helping us to deliver the best hospitality and some top-notch food and drink.

Methven, also known as Mount Hutt village, is a popular destination, conveniently located just over an hour south of Christchurch City, within easy reach of the ski slopes (winter) & loads of beautiful walks, bike trails, award winning vineyards, jet boating, golf courses, hot pools and other adventure sports, being the perfect base to explore the gorgeous scenic area of Mid Canterbury.

The Dubliner is a Gastro Foodie Irish Pub using seasonal NZ ingredients and offering a selection of Irish and Craft Beer, premium spirits, an extensive list of Irish Whiskey’s and a small hand selected NZ focused wine list working directly with some of the area’s best wineries. A hotspot for locals and tourists, The Dubliner is full of character with views overlooking the mountains from every window.

Do you love people? Have great communication skills?
Do you have previous bar and restaurant experience? Are you flexible to work a mixture of days, nights and weekends and be available for a season - at least 3 months? You will need to have a valid driver’s licence and have reliable transport to ensure you can get to and from work.

We are offering a very competitive hourly rate reflective of your experience.
