Warehouse & E-commerce Assistant (shopify & Ai)

Are you switched on, interested in technology and keen to learn how an e-commerce business operates?

Vanlifer is a growing Auckland-based campervan conversion and e-commerce business. We manufacture campervan interiors and sell campervan parts, accessories and DIY products throughout New Zealand.

We're looking for someone smart, organised and motivated to help run our warehouse and online store.

This isn't just a warehouse job. You'll be helping us improve our Shopify inventory, streamline processes and explore how AI can make our business more efficient.
What you'll be doing
- Picking, packing and dispatching online orders.
- Receiving deliveries and checking stock quantities.
- Conducting stocktakes and keeping Shopify inventory accurate.
- Improving product listings, descriptions and pricing.
- Serving walk-in customers and processing POS sales.
- Organising dropshipping orders with suppliers.
- Working closely with our remote e-commerce coordinator.
- Using AI and automation tools to improve everyday processes.
- Keeping the warehouse organised and running efficiently.
Who we're looking for
We're more interested in your attitude and ability to learn than your previous experience.

You might be a university student, recent graduate or someone looking to build a career in e-commerce.

Ideally, you'll be:
- Intelligent, organised and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
- Interested in Shopify, e-commerce, AI or automation.
- Happy combining hands-on warehouse work with computer-based tasks.
- Confident speaking with customers.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
Shopify or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential.
What we offer
- 27-32 per hour, depending on experience.
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week initially.
- Flexible hours, ideally covering weekday mornings.
