Summer Season Superstar - Cleaner/Housekeeper Couple or Single Person needed to join our boutique accommodation team in the Beautiful Bay of Islands!

We're looking for an energetic, fun and enthusiastic individual or couple with experience cleaning boutique holiday cottages (with possibly some outdoor gardening work included) to come and join us for the 2026/76 summer season ahead - starting mid November until the end of February 2027 - flexible for the right person.

Situated in the beautiful Bay of Islands, along the banks of the Takou River and only 20 minutes north of Kerikeri, we own and operate , 4 beautiful Boutique Holiday Cottages a 4 bedroom Lodge, luxury Glamping Site and large House set amid 5 acres of sub tropical gardens and surrounded by 150 acres of farm, native bush, river and gardens. Your work and play are within easy reach of stunning sandy beaches, a pristine river with fishing, kayaking and swimming on your doorstep, and surrounded by stunning nature, glow worms, birdlife and native bush.

The position is full time, 40 hrs/week, starting mid November for approximately 3 months until the mid/end of February 2027. Experience cleaning high end boutique holiday accommodation an advantage; we're looking for a fun, fit, energetic and enthusiastic person, with great attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and independently under pressure and get along in a small team; happy to carry out diverse duties in the quieter periods, including light property maintenance and gardening, however the focus is on cleaning, housekeeping and laundry during the peak season.

The position involves cleaning and preparing boutique holiday cottages for guest arrivals, cleaning inside and out; bathrooms, kitchens, living areas; windows, decks and bbqs, carrying out laundry, ironing and linen; meeting and greeting guests from time to time, and happy to carry out occasional light gardening and general work around the cottages.
You will need a full driving licence and your own vehicle (as we are located 20 minutes from Kerikeri); be a fluent English speaker, non smoker and have a valid visa and be happy to live independently in a small rural community, on site on the property.

A cosy fully furnished 1 bedroom cottage is available to rent on the property (300/week, all bills and wifi included). The Cottage is ideal for 1 or 2 people, so if your partner has work locally, this position may suit you as well.
