Haka House Hostels is a multi-award-winning group of backpacker hostels, proudly leading the way in New Zealand’s hostel scene. We’re all about warm welcomes, top-tier service, and creating a home away from home for every traveler who walks through our doors.

Our properties set the standard for backpacker accommodation, and it’s our passionate, enthusiastic, and intuitive team that brings the Haka House vibe to life.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who:
- Would like to work in a very special place for at least 3 months
- Is passionate about travel and Aotearoa
- Holds a valid NZ passport or work visa
- Has their own car, being able to go around
- Brings positive energy and a can-do attitude (experience in hostels or hotels is a bonus, but not essential!)
- Has excellent time management and communication skills
- Has a sharp eye for detail and takes pride in their work
- Can work evenings and weekends
- Speaks English fluently
- Has a car
