CLEANING TEAM LEADER

Full-time | 30+ hours per week | 30 per hour + 8% holiday pay

ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own how our turnover days run. You'll be first into each property as guests check out, so issues are caught early and the team can focus on cleaning, and you'll be the one who signs every home off as guest-ready. Hands-on role, reporting to the Operations Manager.

HOW YOUR DAY LOOKS
- Morning: run ahead of the team. Check spa pools, check for damage, flag maintenance in Breezeway, strip beds and restock consumables
- Midday: jump in to clean wherever you're needed most, keeping the team to time
- Afternoon: quality checks, final inspections and pre-arrival videos before check-in
- Lighter days: clean alongside the team, making sure our standards and timings are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coordinate and motivate a small team through daily turnovers
- Allocate properties and tasks, adapting as bookings change
- Own spa pool checks, restocking and damage/maintenance reporting
- Train and support team members, especially new starters
- Cover guest messaging from time to time
- Report to the Operations Manager on team performance and property status

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Cleaning experience in short-term rentals, hotels or high-end homes; team leadership a bonus
- Exceptional attention to detail, and the confidence to hold others to the same standard
- Reliable, accountable, and a clear communicator
- Good fitness
- NZ work rights, a full driver's licence and good spoken and written English
- Based in Queenstown, available weekends, and able to commit to staying for the summer (until end of March). Ideal candidate would want to stay in town long term.

THE DETAILS
- Full-time, 30+ hours per week, shifts 8:00am - 5:00pm
- 30 + 8% holiday pay per hour, paid bi-weekly
- Work vehicle provided for property runs
- Full training on our systems and standards
- Room to grow into the operations side as the business grows
- 1000 retention if you stay for first 6 months - details provided in contract
