Dish Washer

Weekend Dishwasher – Spend Your Summer in Rotorua!

Looking for a little weekend work while you explore New Zealand? Join us at Black Label Barbecue, Rotorua’s local barbecue joint, serving up incredible smoked meats, big flavours and good times.

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic dishwasher to help keep our kitchen moving over the summer season. You’ll wash dishes, pots and kitchen equipment, keep the dish area clean and organised, and lend a hand with general kitchen cleaning.

The hours: Approximately 4–8 hours per week, mostly Saturday and Sunday day shifts, with the occasional Friday shift during the busy holiday period. This is a small part-time role—ideal if you’re after a few hours of work while leaving plenty of time for adventures.

You don’t need previous experience, just a good attitude, a willingness to get stuck in and the ability to keep up when service gets busy.

Rotorua is an awesome place to base yourself for summer, with lakes, mountain biking, bush walks and hot pools on your doorstep. With most weekdays free, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to explore the central North Island—from Taupō and Tauranga to the beaches of the Bay of Plenty.

Keen to join our barbecue crew? Send us a little about yourself, your availability and how long you’re planning to stay in Rotorua. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand such as a valid working holiday visa. We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship or support an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) application for this role.
