Tarora is a remote private estate in the beautiful Fiordland region close to the township of Te Anau. We are a truly stunning property with a number of exciting construction and development projects planned in Summer / Autumn 2024.
We are actively seeking Electrician to join our team support to our onsite construction & property maintenance teams.
Duties & responsibilities
• Work hands-on for the installation repair and maintenance of electrical systems fixtures and equipment.
• Apply electrical techniques to ensure top quality workmanship.
• Prepare tools materials and equipment required for electrical projects.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints plans and specifications accurately ensuring all work complies with these documents and associated regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and identify solutions for complex electrical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site tools and equipment.
• Follow company policies regulations and industry standards rigorously.
• Diagnose issues propose effective solutions and execute repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols ensuring safety during all electrical tasks including wiring circuit testing and installation of electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
Requirements
• Any level of experience is welcomed.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical materials and methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong familiarity with building and safety industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and reasonable strength as lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality.
