We are looking for experienced tractor drivers to work with us over the planting season of our kumara (sweet potato) crop.  Ideally the applicants will have grown up on a farm or have experience working on cropping farms operating large tractors and attachments.

The job is available from October and will run until mid December. If you are travelling with a friend or partner there are other jobs on the farm available as well.  We would prefer someone who can commit to staying until the end of the harvest season.

We like to employ honest and reliable people who get along with others well. Having your own vehicle would be a definite advantage and previous tractor experience is a must. 

Working visa IRD number and NZ bank account is needed.  We can accept SSE Visa Holders.

We have a couple of different tractor jobs available with different experience requirements.  Depending on which tractor job your experience is suited for hourly rate will start at $23 per hour + holiday pay

We can assist with accommodation.

Tractor Drivers for Cropping Farm Northland

We are looking for people to help with our kumara planting season starting beginning of October and will have work until mid December.  

Our farm is located in Dargaville Northland.

 Having farming experience is not essential but IRD number NZ bank account and valid visa are required.  We can accept SSE Visa Holders.

Comfortable and clean accommodation is available and there is no cost for this.  

Our farm is a short drive to surf beaches and 30 minutes away from the Kai Iwi lakes - great for summer time!

Kumara Planting Staff Northland

We need workers to join our teams of people picking and packing blueberriess. 

starts late October for 4-5 weeks

The work is 6- 8 hours 5-7 days each week but it is weather dependent. YOU are paid $21.60 (including holiday pay)  

No experience necessary but you MUST speak good english. You need to be strong and fit (no back problems) and cannot be allergic to insect bites or afraid of insects. You need an IRD number and current work VISA. 

You will be staying at the Pukenui Holiday Park located in Pukenui (in the very Far North). Accommodation is in shared cabins $17 per person per night or $98 per week one person $120 per couple if you sleep in your van. Pukenui is a small country town with local shops (a supermarket liquor store takeaways) on the Houhora Harbour 45 minutes drive north of Kaitaia. You will be living in the country no night clubs shopping malls or picture theater so if you need a daily capachino this is not the job for you!! There are great beaches and walks. An ideal opportunity to earn and save.

Own transport is preferred. Transport to the orchards is by car pooling so you help with the cost of fuel if you don't have a vehicle.
