About the Role
Southland Asset Management manages several properties in Te Anau including Edgewater Motel and Cosy Kiwi and we are looking to hire highly motivated and responsible housekeepers for the season with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and preparation of guest rooms.
- Regular cleaning duties such as carpet curtain and window cleaning as well as airing of duvets pillows etc.
- Detailed cleaning of interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Removing rubbish and sorting recyclable material.
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and fixtures and replenishing supplies.
- Clean exteriors of buildings including windows and paintwork as necessary.
Requirements
- No experience is required all training will be provided

We serve specialty coffee and freshly made food providing personal and friendly service and space for people to enjoy the stunning environment. We are open 7 days a week with Xmas day the only day we are closed. We are a small team who value a friendly fun and team-oriented work environment.We have a full-time barista/café assistant position available for an immediate start.
• Preparing and serving beverages to customers to specialty coffee standards with speed accuracy and efficiency
• Serving customers at the register clearing tables and answering customer questions
• Preparing food items following cafe recipes standards and instructions in a timely and efficient manner when required
• Restocking food and drinks cabinets and providing a daily ordering list
• Cleaning and washing of cafe plates cups utensils and kitchenwares as required
We are looking for an experienced barista who is confident and comfortable in a fast-paced and friendly cafe environment who can get up to speed quickly. This person will need to be able to:
• Produce drinks with latte art consistently
• Produce drinks at a rate of 2-3 per minute to specialty coffee standards
• Have strong customer service skills and believe in building strong customer relationships
• Have great interactions with customers and provide services with a smile
• Show experience in basic food preparation and food hygiene.
• Be open with an attitude and mindset for growth
• You'll need to be a quick learner and have the flexibility to work on a 7-day roster that will include nights and weekends. A proven track record in coffee making service and/or hospitality is essential.

Job Description
As a Tiler/Paver at Tarora you will work hands-on with various tiling tasks. Reporting to the onsite Project Manager your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety and workmanship are achieved and maintained throughout the different project stages. You will work closely with the onsite construction team to deliver top-quality tiling services meeting all regulatory and consent requirements.
Duties & responsibilities
• Work hands-on for the installation repair and maintenance of tiled surfaces including floors walls and other surfaces.
• Apply advanced tiling techniques to ensure top-quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret tiling blueprints plans and specifications accurately ensuring all work complies with these documents and associated regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and identify solutions for complex tiling issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site tools and equipment.
• Follow company policies regulations and industry standards rigorously.
• Diagnose issues propose effective solutions and execute repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols ensuring safety during all tiling tasks including measuring cutting and setting tiles.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Requirements
• Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of tiling materials and methods.

Have five acres run a wee mob of sheep and have room for a backpacker/Woofer or two who are travelling in NZ to give a hand with gardening cleaning and assisting with various projects and jobs around the house and section in exchange for board and lodging. Happy to teach if you don't know. It will be safe fun and interesting. Woodwork chainsaw use building fencing cooking bread making lots of things to learn and do.
Beautiful location... Taieri Mouth. Lovely house right on the sea has spa private beach black labrador called Bonnie who loves to be taken walking.
You will have your own room with a sea view stereo private bathroom the fastest Internet in the area (I own an ISP!) lots of entertainment music Netflix movies and so forth oh and a great cook! Guaranteed there will be no pre cooked sausages healthy good food only.
As a backpacker I crave a permanent place for a few weeks when I travel for a long time. A door to close. A space of my own and not to have to think about travel or food. So this would suit perhaps a backpacker looking for some time out for a week or so. All is asked of you is to make an effort and help keep the place in top shape.
BTW Dunedin City Centre is 30 minutes away.
