Production Supervisor, Agriculture and Forestry Seasonal jobs in Te Puke Bay-of-Plenty New Zealand

LRK Trays Ltd is looking to fill a number of positions across the BAY OF PLENTY area(between Katikati and Tepuke)

Duties for the role of Production Supervisor are:
Instructing individuals in proper work methods and standards; monitoring crew work quality; ensuring adherence to time schedules and safe work practices.

Ensuring staff are inducted and receive ongoing training & development to continuously improve competency levels.

Meeting client job specifications and catering to client and/or team member concerns.

Periodically testing fibre tear and glue adhesion observing product output for defects and variations and adjusting machine settings accordingly.

Identifying repairing and documenting machine issues and causes of rejected product materials.

Ensuring the completion of daily operation activity logs and other required documents (ie. equipment registers timesheets report forms etc).

Report to team managers  regularly keeping them updated on production activities and progress.

To be considered for this role:

applicants must have previous experience with tray making machinery. (preferably 1 - 2 years)

Mechanical know-how and the ability to optimize complex equipment (minimum level 2 operator trained with SWF and IT CORRPAX machinery).

Experience in packhouse production and quality control procedures.

Excellent communication skills - an ability to speak Spanish/Portuguese would also be an advantage.

Positions:     10
Pay:     22.50 per hour (negotiable on experience)
